Crowd simulation
Populate a space with characters that navigate it plausibly, respond to terrain and interact with each other, instead of being placed one by one.
Lifelike crowd and traffic animation for architectural visualisation, without the usual hassle.
Chaos Anima populates architectural scenes with photorealistic people and moving traffic. It pairs a crowd and traffic simulation engine with a library of more than 4,000 render-ready 4D and 3D people models and a growing collection of animated urban vehicles.
The simulation handles rigid body physics, terrain response and believable interaction between characters, so a plaza or a streetscape reads as a place people actually use. Assets drop straight into 3ds Max, Cinema 4D or Unreal Engine, and rendering stays in the application you already work in.
Anima is included in the V-Ray Collection and Corona Collection tiers, and is available as a standalone floating subscription. Storm FX can advise which is better value once we know how many artists need it at once.

Populate a space with characters that navigate it plausibly, respond to terrain and interact with each other, instead of being placed one by one.
Animate vehicles along road networks with realistic behaviour, which is what makes urban and infrastructure visualisations convincing.
A large library of render-ready 4D and 3D human assets, filterable by activity, clothing, season and setting so the crowd suits the project.
A growing set of vehicle models built for animation, so street level scenes do not depend on stock stills.
Drag models straight into 3ds Max, Cinema 4D or Unreal Engine, or drive crowd and traffic animation from the Anima app with a live link.
Rendering happens in your existing application with your existing renderer. Anima adds the population, it does not add a second render pipeline.
A populated render communicates scale and use in a way an empty one cannot, and it takes minutes rather than a manual placement session.
Moving crowds and traffic are what separate a convincing project film from an obviously empty model.
Urban scale projects live or die on a public realm that looks used. Traffic and pedestrian simulation is the fastest route to that.
