01Who you are dealing with.

This website is operated by Storm FX Distributions Pty Ltd, ABN 46 109 602 244. In these terms, Storm FX, we, us and our all mean that company. You and your mean the person using the site.

02Using the site means accepting these terms.

By using this website you accept these terms. If any part of them does not work for you, please stop using the site and contact us instead.

These terms apply to browsing, searching, submitting an enquiry and reading product information. Buying goods, licences or services is covered by our Conditions of Sale, which sit alongside these terms.

03What this site is for.

The site describes what we sell, who we work with and how we can help. Product pages, technology pages and vendor pages are published for information.

Product specifications, availability and pricing change often, and vendors update their own products without telling us first. We take care to keep the site current, and we recommend you confirm the detail with our team before you commit to a purchase. Nothing in this paragraph limits the guarantees you get under the Australian Consumer Law once you have bought something.

Product images are illustrative. Colours, packaging and included accessories can differ. Where the detail matters, ask us and we will confirm it in writing.

04How you may use the site.

You may view, download and print material on this site for your own personal or internal business use.

• use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that puts us in breach of any law
• copy, republish, resell or redistribute any part of the site without our written permission
• harvest, scrape or bulk download content, pricing or contact details

The design, structure, written content, photography, code and compilation of this site are owned by Storm FX or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Your permission to view and print content is a limited, non-exclusive licence for your own use. It does not let you republish, sell, sublicense or build a derivative work.

Vendor names and logos

Vendor and manufacturer names, product names, logos and badges shown on this site belong to their respective owners. They appear here to identify products we distribute and partner accreditations we hold. Their appearance does not transfer any right in those marks to you.

06Links to other websites.

The site links to vendor sites, documentation and support portals. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content, their availability or their handling of your information.

Once you leave our site, the other operator's terms and privacy policy apply. Read them before you hand over anything.

07Availability of the site.

We aim to keep the site up and working. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, and we may need to take it down for maintenance, upgrades or security work.

We may change, add or withdraw parts of the site at any time. If a change affects an order you have already placed, the Conditions of Sale govern what happens next.

08Our responsibility, and its limits.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

Subject to that, we are not liable for loss you suffer through your use of this website, except to the extent the loss is caused by our own negligence or breach. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data or loss of goodwill.

You are responsible for your own security. Keep your devices patched, keep your account details private, and tell us straight away if you think an account has been compromised.

09Privacy.

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through this site, why we collect it, who we give it to and how you can access or correct it. Our Cookie Notice covers what the site stores in your browser.

10Changes to these terms.

We may update these terms. The current version is always published on this page, with the date it took effect at the top.

Changes apply going forward. The terms that govern an order are the ones published on the day you place that order, and we will not change those after the fact.

11Governing law.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

You and Storm FX submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales. If you are a consumer in New Zealand, nothing here stops you bringing proceedings in New Zealand, and nothing here limits the protection of New Zealand consumer law.
