The Geevs server range has a model to meet every requirement, from the compact 1RU Slim SD, offering up to 6 channels of regular SD, through to the 4RU Geevs HDP 4/4 boasting up to 8 channels of SD or HD I/O. Future-proofing is assured, as codec support is upgradeable and storage capacity expandable via internal drives and/or the addition of external Geevs Storage units. As standard, all models include rack slides, redundant power supply, mirrored system drive and system configuration, together with a System Restore image on USB Pendrive and Windows 7 Professional. Autorun provides dedicated 24/7 scheduled play-out. Geevs also has utilities for file conversion, time delay, content insertion and automation support. Edit While Capture Geevs supports Edit While Capture in MXF, AVI and QuickTime formats on EditShare shared storage. Playout During Transfer Geevs supports play-out of files while they are still being captured or transferred, offering huge time savings and the ability to make last-minute critical changes to content. Flow Integration Seamless integration with EditShare Flow means that you can browse and log your media during ingest using real-time proxy files. Avid and FCP sequences can be created using data obtained from the vision mixer tallies using Studio MC.
